2021 is a year of celebration for Humanitarians in Australia and New Zealand because it marks the Centenary of Rotary in Australasia.
To mark this special anniversary, The Rotary Club of Brisbane is holding a gala evening of fellowship and dancing at the W Brisbane. Join us in celebrating this milestone with a 3-hour black-tie dinner and drinks package followed by dancing until 11pm. Stayers are invited to kick on at the WET Deck Bar and the hotel is also offering an attractive acommodation package for those who wish to decant themselves into a room afterwards.
The proceeds from ticket sales, auctions and raffles will be used to support Rotary International's Polio Plus program and the Jelly Beans initiative of Open Doors Youth Services, providing housing and mental health support services to LGBTIQ young people and their families in Queensland.

The 2021 RYLA Camp is on 1st-7th May, 2021. Discount registrations close on the 31st December, 2020 and final close of applications is 29th March, 2021 so you need to start thinking about it now.
The program’s aim is to give young people personal, leadership and citizenship skills to succeed in all areas of their life.
RYLA will give young adults (18-26yrs) the opportunity to learn from other like-minded people and make new friends, while being challenged both physically and mentally on their road to self-discovery. This experiential learning opportunity will enable individuals to discover their uniqueness and how to communicate and work with others, and embrace change.+
Participants will be transported by bus to and from Luther Heights, arriving Saturday, 1st May and departing Friday, 7th May 2021. The program covers seven full days of activities and speakers, together with social and Rotary functions at night. The Seminar Program will start at 0600 and conclude at 2300 each day.

Mooloolaba Rotary is holding its annual Christmas Trailer Raffle, valued at over $8000, at Kawana Shoppingworld. This year the major beneficiary is Currimundi Special School and the Club aims to raise sufficient funds to purchase several special bicycles needed by the school.
Come and share your best project ideas, discover new ones and network with like-minded people. This day is a great motivational experience for all students, teachers and Rotarians who are passionate about their clubs and those Rotarians considering starting a club.

Neil Black, District Governer for 2020 - 21 invites you to the last 9600 conference, in his home town of Kingaroy, Queensland, from the 26 - 28 March 2021.
