Spend a morning by Woorim Beach while helping to conserve our beautiful but sensitive coastal dunes.

Join us and other like-minded volunteers for a community tree planting event at Rotary Park, Woorim on Friday 21st May at 9am.

Together, we’ll help to stabilise the dune system and improve habitat for wildlife, including nesting Loggerhead sea turtles. We have 800 native trees, shrubs and groundcovers ready to hit the sand!

For those looking to get contribute further, you’re invited to get involved with our weed control and watering events at this site on Tuesday 18th and Thursday 27th May. Activities are suitable for people with moderate fitness.

Please wear sunscreen, hat, long sleeve shirt and pants. Bring your own gloves, and plenty of water. Morning tea will be provided.

To sign up, click on the signup link on the left. Contact details of the organisers are in the flyer attached to the flyer link on the left.
